1. Da Nang, Vietnam – $800–1100/month
beach studio for $380. pho is $1.50 and ruins you forever. 100mbps fiber everywhere. skip co-working, cafes don’t care. stayed 3 months and learned exactly one vietnamese phrase: “another beer please.”
2. Medellín, Colombia Digital Nomads – $900–1200/month
Airbnb $400 in laureles. bandeja paisa costs $2 and slaps. selina day pass $12 when i feel fancy. wifi is stupid fast. stayed 4 months, left because i started salsa dancing in my sleep.
3. Tbilisi, Georgia – $700–950/month
Soviet $300 apartment with balcony. grandma downstairs force-feeds khachapuri. wine is $2 and from a basement. impact hub $80/month with unlimited coffee. winter here was just orange wine and pretending i’m cultured.
4. Oaxaca, Mexico Digital Nomads – $900–1300/month
$450 rooftop casita. al pastor tacos $1.50 at 2am. wifi dies in rain but mezcal fixes it. current location. send help or more mezcal.
5. Chiang Mai, Thailand – $700–1000/month
Condo $250 with pool. pad thai $1. punspace coworking $80/month. avoid the tourist strip and it’s still dumb cheap. got dengue once. went back anyway because mango sticky rice.

Downtown $280 apartment. lavash wraps $4 and huge. free wine fountains exist. wifi solid. locals assume you’re russian and pour free shots.
