Look, despite the jet lag, the dust, the questionable laundry situations, and the time I accidentally tried to pay for a souvenir with American dollars (facepalm moment, big time), going on an African safari was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat? It changes you, I swear. It makes you realize how small we are in the grand scheme of things. Just be prepared for things to be a little… different. Like, the food might be amazing, or it might be an adventure in itself. The schedule might be flexible (read: non-existent sometimes). And you will definitely see things you can’t unsee (in a good way, mostly!).
