We’re in the midst of a full-fledged luxury hotel boom in the Caribbean, with luxury hotels seemingly popping up all over the region with a growing frequency at a rate we really haven’t seen since the heart of the pandemic, when a huge infusion of capital went into large developments across the region. That includes major brands like Four Seasons (more on their pipeline here), Kempinski, Waldorf-Astoria (which just announced a new project in Turks and Caicos).
And yes, that includes one of the region’s core luxury brands: Ritz-Carlton, which has a pipeline of four luxury resorts across the Caribbean Basin, all of which are also residential resorts (the biggest trend in Caribbean development).
